What is openDBA:

openDBA is an open-source web based application which helps Database Administrators and Developers to monitor their SQL Server Instances from within a single easy to manage front end.

The current version of openDBA uses ASP "Active Server Pages" technology but we are planning to upgrade it to ASP.NET version very soon.

History of openDBA:

Our DBA, Nariman started this project as a fun and his original intention was to come up with a web based front end tool which gives him a quick overview of how his SQL Servers are performing.

Later on we thought it would be a great idea to make it an open-source project so that not only others can take benefits from using it but also if someone likes to add more features into it and release the new version with more powerful features.

If you can help:

If you beleive you can help to make it a better application and add some nice featres please feel free to contact us and we'll get back to you soon.

Anyone can add / modify features and we'll be happy to add those updates in the next releases.
